**ABOUT LIQUOR & CANNABIS**
The Liquor & Cannabis Division supports progressive developments in both industries while building strong relationships with stakeholders and collecting revenue for the General Revenue Fund. It is responsible for managing both product supply chains in Alberta via both external warehousing solutions and a third party logistics partner. The liquor industry is also supported through Liquor Program Services and Liquor Planning & Reporting Services. The cannabis industry is supported by the Operations branch as well as the Product & Stakeholder Management area.

**Job Details**

Reporting to the Vice-President, Liquor and Cannabis, the Director is responsible for providing leadership in all aspects of liquor and cannabis supply chain, contributing to the achievement of AGLC’s strategic goals by overseeing a stable liquor and cannabis distribution network and exploring opportunities that enhance relevance, effectiveness, and efficiency within that network. The position will have the 6 external warehouses for the critical Liquor and Cannabis portfolio which will support approximately $3.7B of outbound wholesale shipments to our retailer network. As a member of he Liquor and Cannabis leadership team this position will ensure world class execution from our external warehousing and distribution network while maintaining cost controls for Alberta taxpayers.

**Skills & Abilities**

**Education**:

- A post-secondary degree in business administration, commerce, or a related field

**Experience**:

- Six or more years of senior management experience with an emphasis on Strong leadership, business planning, delegation and organizational skills.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- A broad knowledge of all operational functions of the Liquor and Cannabis supply chains
- An extensive in-depth knowledge of Alberta's liquor and cannabis industry.
- A broad knowledge of cross jurisdictional models in both Liquor and Cannabis industries.
- Must be decisive, able to cope with high stress via the complexities and nature of the liquor and cannabis industries and related activities.
- Strong leadership, business planning, delegation, and organization skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate and communicate corporate values and to identify and order priorities to achieve expected results.
