**Job Summary**:
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in maximising sales, providing a positive and dynamic visitor experience for members and guests while maintaining all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the store including but not limited to: POS operations, shipping, receiving, inventory management and visual presentation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide outstanding customer service and a welcoming shopping experience to all guests
- Effectively resolve customer concerns and issues in a positive and timely manner and refer to Store Manager, or designate as required
- Meet or exceed personal and store sale objectives
- Stay current with product information and updates while assisting in driving operational activities that generate sales
- Maintain store merchandising standards and visual expectations (i.e. new product rollouts, visual merchandising, replenishment, store housekeeping and maintenance)
- Maintain store operation standards by ensuring accurate and timely processes with the following: opening and closing, inventory management, point of sale transactions, processing online sales for shipment, marketing.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures including loss prevention guidelines
- Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Highly enthusiastic and energetic team player who drives performance towards outstanding results
- Minimum 1 year retail sales experience with emphasis on customer service and generating sales
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively resolve customer concerns and issues in a positive and timely manner
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proven track record of working independently and in a team environment
- Strong visual merchandising presentation skills in a retail environment
- Fluent in English is required. Mandarin/Cantonese is an asset
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including: afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to exercise initiative and make decisions in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and policies established by the Richmond Olympic Oval
- Valid Standard First Aid an asset
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check

**Compensation range**: $17.27 to $19.56 plus 12% in lieu of benefits (hourly rate is based on qualifications and experience)
