**Your Opportunity**:
**Description**:
As a Service Worker I, you may transport patients (clients, residents) and equipment to and from different units as well as distribute and replenish hospital supplies throughout the units. You may also transport lab specimens, blood and blood products, patient charts, and clean patient care equipment. You will report any concerns regarding supplies and safety issues to Unit Managers and perform other duties as required.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Diagnostic Imaging service worker experience required. BCLS certification required. Must be able to communicate in verbal and written English. Ability to work as a member of a team and to request and accept direction as required. Effective interpersonal and communication skills with patients/families, visitors and team members. Effective time management skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Good organizational skills/ability to assume responsibility. Good interpersonal/communication skills/has tact and courtesy in dealing with patients, staff and physicians. Ability to cooperate, work independently and promote good teamwork and work under pressure and in emergency situations. Perception, initiative, good judgment and concern for detail and accuracy.
