Brusher / Slasher/ Faller Supervisor

Looking for experienced Slashers, Buckers and Faller Supervisors for various contracts throughout BC. Accommodation & LOA provided depending on location. Valid BCDL preferred, but not required for all contracts. The following tickets would be an asset and would expand contract opportunities: S100, H2S Alive, WHIMS, Bear Awareness. Attention to detail is a must as applicants will be responsible for completing and submitting all associated paperwork to Head Office within specified time frames,

Wage based on experience and qualifications

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Conduct field work as a recognized "Qualified Persons" field technician
- Operate and maintain a chainsaw, brush saw, water pump and winch
- Work safely and responsibly in the forestry workplace
- Identify the key phases and management of Wildfires
- Conduct Fire Suppression & Safety procedures as a qualified S-100
- Understand the roles and responsibilities with the Incident Command System
- Conduct standard field communication protocols and procedures
- Operate portable water pumps

- H2S Alive
- WHIMS
- Chain/Brush saw Certificate
- S100
- Bear Awareness
- Occupational First Aid Level 1
- Knowledge of Forestry and Silviculture

**Additional Notes**

PPE and Chainsaw to be provided by workers

Required PPE
- Personal First Aid Kit
- Chainsaw Pants (4100 CA Approved)
- Side Impact Hardhat, Class E, Type II with screen & ear muffs
- CSA Safety Boots (with ankle supports)
- Orange Caulk Boots - Steel toe
- Vis Vest 4"
- Gloves - task and hazard specific
- Whistle
- Carpenter's Harness or Faller's belt with pouch
- Weather appropriate clothing

Pay: $350.00 per day

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
