Reporting to the Associate Dean, Design and Visual Arts, the incumbent develops and delivers courses in the **Project Management Graduate Certificate Program **onsite in **Port Elgin at the Nuclear Innovation Institute**. Courses may be scheduled and delivered during the day or evening. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

- Delivering courses in the Project Management Program
- Developing and delivering appropriate curriculum to meet course objectives.
- Incorporating a variety of teaching / learning strategies to meet student needs.
- Evaluating student progress / achievement
- Participating in program and college activities as required
- Participating in program revision and renewal activities as required
- Creating and maintaining a positive learning environment

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Undergraduate or master’s degree in business or a related discipline
- Formal education in project management (certificate, diploma or degree)
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience managing projects
- Certification in project management, example PMP, is strongly desired.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies such as Lean, Kanban and Scrum would be an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to life-long learning
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and to foster the same in students.
- Experience in some or all of the following is an asset: curriculum development, a variety of delivery strategies, adult learning methodologies, academic advising, and student success strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations.
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Office Suite
- Computer literacy with a Learning Management System / Web Delivery Software (i.e. Blackboard) and a Student Information System would be considered an asset.
- Teaching and Training Adults certification and / or experience in a teaching or training capacity is an asset.
