**ABOUT THE JOB**:
The Project Manager - Blast Resistant Modular Buildings (PM-BRM) is responsible for the preparation of competitive, accurate and profitable estimates and proposals for fabrication of BRM units as well as other metal products within our scope of work. PM-BRM will work with commercial and manufacturing teams, third party engineering professionals, materials suppliers and vendors to ensure to meet customer scope requirements and timelines, all BRM certifications related to welding and building codes, quality assurance certifications, cost tracking, document control and final engineering and customer sign-off.

**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**:
- Evaluate scope of work and RFQ’s from customers to determine requirements for layout and overall design.
- Determine if it needs to go through Construction Services process or not.
- Work through the design options for the structural and architectural components.
- Based on site blast, area classification, and facility siting requirements.
- Prepare material take-offs based on drawings and specifications once the design has been reviewed and approved.
- Source and price materials as needed to prepare estimates.
- Assign labor man-hours for processing of work.
- Source and obtain pricing for sublet work.
- Work with customers to ensure their exact requirements are being satisfied and work to bring additional value to the project.
- For design/build projects, work with third party engineering or utilize other resources as needed.
- Assist with internal processes and approvals as necessary for bidding.
- Prepare detailed proposals, including schedule, payment terms, terms & conditions.
- Prepare estimate summary, project data sheet, and ensure all documentation is properly distributed.
- Once a project is awarded - provide all information needed to start the building process.
- Participate in kick-off meetings prior to start of fabrication as required.
- Request for PO to Steel provide to division admin.
- Once PO is receipted - begin the Conversion Work Order process in SAP and provide all additional POs needed.
- Order all materials needed for the shop to manufacture.
- Provide support for all vendors/crafts from start to finish for the project.
- Monitor status of all aspects of the project from start to finish and provide timeline updates based on set milestones.
- Tracking all costs and ensuring actual costs come close to WO estimate in SAP
- Document control
- Go to site and oversee setup if needed.
- Follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction after completion of project.
**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education, Knowledge, Training, Skills and/or Experience**
- BS or Technology diploma in Mechanical or Structural engineering preferred.
- High School Diploma/equivalent
- Ability to read/interpret drawings and prepare thorough and accurate material take-offs.
- Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer knowledge and proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a collaborative format with multiple team members.
- Strong math skills
- Strong organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks/projects in fast paced environment
- Familiarity with contractual language a plus
**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in steel fabrication or pressure vessel project management and estimating.
- Proven abilities with project management, estimating, and cost tracking.
- Experience in Modular Construction a plus.
- Proven successful skills in negotiating with materials suppliers and vendors.
- High degree of initiative and strong customer service focus
- Effective interpersonal, organization and communication skills required.
- Working knowledge of MS Office/Excel/Outlook.
