Field agents will be trained and will receive a Pesticide Applicator’s License. They will use ArcGIS data collection software to fulfill the contract requirements. The work is between 30 and 40 hours per week starting in the first week of June.

GDG Canada Inc. is a sustainable applied science group dedicated to managing the risk from West Nile virus and other vector borne diseases.

**Functions**
Under the supervision of the project supervisor, the field agent is responsible treating all public roadside catch basins in the Chatham-Kent region for the prevention of mosquito development using targeted larvicides.

The treatment is performed independently on an e-bike. The agent will review their treatment progress each day and plan their work for the following day. The field agent will be provided all of the necessary equipment as well as a work vehicle. There will not be a physical office to report to in the region. They will be primarily supervised remotely.

**Requirements**:

- Driver’s license
- Good physical condition
- Discipline at work
- Autonomy and resourcefulness
- Capable of working extended hours if required.

**Salary and Benefits**
- Training to achieve a Pesticide Applicators License
- Salary is $19.38/hour
