Boom Truck Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Boom Truck Operator to join our dynamic team.
**Position Overview**:
The Boom Truck Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of boom trucks to transport and deliver building materials to various residential and commercial sites. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate boom trucks to load, transport, and unload building materials.
- Ensure the safe and secure handling of all materials during transport.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and customers.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Valid Class 3 drivers liscense with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating boom trucks in the building supply or construction industry considered an asset.
- Knowledge of load securement and safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy materials.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
