Flooring Specialist

Job Description: Part-time Flooring Technician. You will be responsible for assisting with preparing, and installing polyaspartic coatings. Your role will primarily involve supporting the lead epoxy flooring technicians in various tasks, ensuring the successful completion of projects within the agreed timeframe and quality standards.

**Duties**:

- Prepare the surface for polyaspartic installation. This includes grinding and crack filling.
- Support the lead technician in equipment maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment including use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, including gloves, goggles, masks, or respirators.
- Basic understanding of floor coating materials, tools, and techniques (preferred, but not necessary as training will be provided).
- Ability to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various positions (e.g., kneeling, bending, reaching).
- Availability for flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, based on project requirements.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow through on instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable using hand tools such as floor grinders, hand grinders, drills, paint/rollers, blowers.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
