**TAM International LP is in search of a dynamic individual, with amazing attention to detail, to join their team as a Logistics Coordinator.**

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating international and domestic shipments in a fast-paced work environment and ensuring that internationally traded goods move from point of origin to point of destination to; arrive at the right place, at the right time, in good order and condition, and at the most economical cost.

**Responsibilities**:

- Strong organizational skills are essential for arranging the timely pick-up of freight and organizing transportation between intermediate destinations, i.e. port facilities, cargo terminals, and railway yards.
- Keeping clients informed throughout the whole process and reporting back to them at each and every stage.
- Work within contracts and service level agreements for third party suppliers and/or service providers.
- Provide ongoing updates on the status of projects and give progress reports on other process improvement initiatives to the Operations Manager and the customer.
- Adhere to the organization's safety policies and work in accordance with applicable international safety standards and local laws.
- Coordinate international and domestic shipments; work with customs brokers to ensure compliance
- Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.

**Key Requirements**:

- Completion of post-secondary education is preferred.
- 1-3 years of direct work experience in a logistics and/or transport function, or supply chain management.
- Safety awareness
- Solid project management skills are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good financial and business awareness.
- Familiar with enterprise-level track-and-trace systems.
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and customers.
- Strong quantitative and critical thinking skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Team player.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
