**POSITION: Intake and Outreach Specialist**

**Position**:
The **Intake and Outreach Specialist** will engage potential clients and collaborate with community organizations to build partnerships and generate new referrals for our Integrated Employment Service IES Program. Responsible for initiating and completing new client intakes and providing a variety of employment support services that may include but not limited to:

- Support, develop and implement marketing activities and conduct outreach over the phone/virtually and in person to engage potential clients and community partners
- Conduct intake interviews and assessments to determine eligibility, employability, support needs and potential barriers to employment.
- Establish and maintain collaborative, professional relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, employers and community partners
- Establish good working relationships team members
- Complete a variety of administrative tasks and maintain case files as per company procedure.
- Flexibility to assist the team to support individuals through all stages of their job search journey and to obtain documented employment verification from employed clients at designated checkpoints.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field.
- Experience in conducting intakes, community outreach, community engagement, marketing or sales related roles
- Valid driver’s licence and vehicle
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Comfortable with public speaking and presenting information
- Collaborative Team Player

Computer Literacy, learns new processes and systems with ease

**Assets**:

- Experience of working with vulnerable populations
- Experience of working toward outcomes/targets
- Knowledge of resources and supports in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario region

**Salary**: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
