- ***:_Reporting to the Director of Care, the Personal Support Worker contributes to the overall success of the organization by effectively providing care to residents as directed by the registered staff in charge. _
- **REPORTS TO**:_ _Director of Care _
- **DATE REQUIRED**:_ _As soon as possible_
- **SALARY**:_ _$23.54 to $24.12 per hour (All PSW employees will receive an additional $3.00 per hour which is the current Personal Support Worker Wage Enhancement provided by the Provincial Government)_**QUALIFICATIONS**:_
- Personal Support Worker certificate preferred or enrolled in an accredited PSW program or nursing program and completing the practical experience requirements of the program,_
- Experience working with the vulnerable population, in a long term care setting preferred_
- Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) training an asset_
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able and willing to work as an effective team member_
- **Responsibilities**_
- Two (2) Years clinical experience in long term care preferred_
- **Abilities**_
- Flexibility to work all shifts (days, evenings and nights)_
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written_
- Ability to adapt to changing environment_
- Good Interpersonal Skills _

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.54-$24.12 per hour
