**_ : _**_Reporting to the Director of Care, the Personal Support Worker contributes to the overall success of the organization by effectively providing care to residents as directed by the registered staff in charge._

**_DATE REQUIRED:_**_ As soon as possible_

**_ SALARY:_**_ $23.54 to $24.12 per hour (All PSW employees will receive an additional $3.00 per hour which is the current Personal Support Worker Wage Enhancement provided by the Provincial Government)_

**_ QUALIFICATIONS:_**
- _Personal Support Worker certificate preferred or enrolled in an accredited PSW program or nursing program and completing the practical experience requirements of the program,_
- _Experience working with the vulnerable population, in a long term care setting preferred_
- _Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) training an asset_
- _Excellent interpersonal skills and able and willing to work as an effective team member_

**_ Responsibilities_**
- _Two (2) Years clinical experience in long term care preferred_

**_ Abilities_**
- _Flexibility to work all shifts (days, evenings and nights)_
- _Strong communication skills both verbal and written_
- _Ability to adapt to changing environment_
- _Good Interpersonal Skills_
