Play Golf Calgary is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic chef to lead our culinary team at Serenity Golf Course to open our brand new Clubhouse

We are looking for a chef to champion our four core values of Pride, Friendliness, Efficiency, and Energy.

Key requirements:

- A strong leadership personality
- Calm under pressure
- 5 plus years’ experience in a high-volume kitchen.
- Experience in managing costs and inventory control.
- A high standard of quality and creativity.
- Combination of schooling and experience at various concepts
- Valid food safety training certificate

Position responsibilities:

- Creating a positive culture while developing the next leaders in our culinary team
- Hiring, training and retaining a kitchen staff that will maintain the high standards that are set by Play Golf Calgary
- Working with food provider representatives
- Inventory and ordering of top quality and fresh ingredients
- Managing costs and profits
- Maintaining health and safety standards
- Developing menus for league nights

Compensation includes:
Yearly salary commensurate with experience

Lesser work schedule in winter

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Tips

**Experience**:

- chef: 3 years (preferred)
- sous chef: 2 years (required)
