Working on a 40-hour-per-week basis and reporting directly to the Restoration Project Manager, the Restoration Supervisor will be immersed in leading a team by example and working closely with the Project Coordinator. This individual will manage day-to-day activities of construction projects by ensuring quality deliverables; adherence to technical, health, and safety specifications are top priority.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Overseeing construction projects, ensuring they reach key objectives such as: quality workmanship, minimizing deficiencies, meeting timelines, mitigating risk hazards, leading, and implementing daily construction activities.
- Supervising daily construction activities and communicate with the Restoration Project Manager to address challenges.
- Leading daily safety talks.
- Review plans and specifications to ensure quality assurance practices are being met.
- Monitoring product inventory and advising coordinator when more resources are required.
- Working with the Restoration Technicians to provide clear direction and effective training.
- Ensuring Restoration Technicians are managing work performance and productivity through regular feedback and guidance to ensure work is being done effectively and that policies and procedures are being followed.
- Taking appropriate actions to effectively handle implications of delays, weather, or emergencies at construction site.
- Foster cross-team collaboration

**Qualifications and Experience Required**:

- **Education**: High School Diploma considered an asset
- **Experience**: 5 years’ of experience in the construction industry
- Valid driver license
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail, and experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Understanding and enforcement of the Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health Act and Regulation
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Climb stairs and ladders
- Clear Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector) must be maintained.
- Occasional work outside of regular work hours (Monday to Friday) may be required
