**THE ROLE**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Solicit new and existing customers for freight transport
- Identify opportunities to increase trailer utilization
- Book freight loads through customers, brokers and carriers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers
- Manage shipping and carrier relationships
- Negotiate rates through collaboration with team members and management
- Proactively identify challenges and implement effective solutions

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Transportation industry experience
- A network of existing freight customer and broker contacts
- Experience booking loads through load boards and brokers
- Results oriented
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with LCVs would be an asset
