Blumenort, Canada One Call Logistics Inc. Full time

One Call Logistics Inc is an asset-based transportation company located in Blumenort, Manitoba. Currently, we have 30 units and 52 dry-van trailers, and we primarily haul general freight to and from the US into Central and Western Canada. We are currently seeking a full-time Trailer Technician for our crew.

As a Trailer Technician you will be primarily responsible in assisting the crew with upholding the fleets excellent working condition. This entails scheduled maintenance and repair of company trailers and equipment. This role requires a collaborative problem solver and someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship.

**Pay Range: $20.00 - $33.00 per hour**

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspect trailer mechanisms, ensuring that the trailer is safe and reliable for operation
- Complete basic exterior trailer body repairs
- Perform metal working, cutting, and welding on landing gear, cross member replacements, slider and suspension, and rear end protection repairs
- Complete air brake and suspension repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical system deficiencies
- Follow and promote Safety Guidelines, SOPs, and best practices
- Provide accurate and clear work orders
- Other diesel and automotive related repairs as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Level 1 Certification or higher in Truck and Transportation Trade considered and asset
- 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred
- Safety Inspection Certificate considered an asset
- Hold a valid driver's license (Class 1 an asset)
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and other transport trailer systems and related components
- Basic computer skills are considered an asset
- An energetic and positive personality
- Collaborative team player
- Ability to work independently
- A strong commitment to safety and continuous learning
- Ability to safely lift 50lbs on your own
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
