**Job Purpose**

As a Product Manager, you must possess a unique blend of business knowledge as well as a technical background combined with agile software development experience. You must have the ability to analyze a customers needs and translate them into requirements via stories. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work closely with the Project Manager/Scrum Master to define product and product release requirements within an agile framework. A product manager's key role is both to guide the software development requirements and the product itself.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Drive product requirements and business analysis
- Read through detailed business and regulatory documentation and build stories (requirements)
- Maintain/prioritize product backlog
- Understand and have ability to present stories (requirements) to technical teams
- Be available to answer business-related questions from the technical team as they work through the sprint
- Ability to participate in the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Ability to reverse engineer complex undocumented algorithms and turn them into requirements
- Assess bug reports and change requests from business stakeholders to determine validity and criticality
- Negotiate with business and technical team on scope and timing for change requests
- Analyze potential projects and work with Technical Team leads and Project Manager to determine cost estimates that will be communicated to a Business Sponsor
- Participate in prioritizing competing projects/resources

**Knowledge and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university with a major in computer science, engineering, finance, or mathematics; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have business analysis experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Agile software development experience would be an asset
- Certified SCRUM Product Owner would be an asset
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks as delegated

**Schedule**

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
