**Brake Press Operator**

*must be able to effectively read and interpret blueprints / schematics to perform accurate set-ups

*able to interpret precise measuring instruments. (radius gages, vernier, height stand) to check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications

*able to set-up machines based on job requirements, using fixtures, backstop adjustments, ram adjustments etc.

*able to make adjustments to programs and tooling to produce quality product

*able to load/unload tooling and set-up equipment

*must have good communication skills - excellent command of the English language
- ability to train and mentor new and existing staff in the brake press department

*mathematically inclined

*problem solving skills

*attention to detail

*knowledge of Cincinnati and Pacific brake presses an asset
