**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate a bus on designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and staff, providing information regarding routes, schedules, and any delays.
- Maintain the bus in good working condition by performing routine inspections and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Ensure a clean and comfortable environment for passengers by keeping the bus tidy and well-maintained.
- Assist clients and staff as needed.
- Manage passenger behavior to ensure a safe and pleasant ride for everyone on board.
- Keep accurate records of daily operations, including passenger counts and any incidents that occur during transit.

**Requirements**:

- Valid F license with a clean driving record.
- First Aid.
- Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks on the bus.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations effectively.
- Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role is preferred.

**This position has a base hourly rate of $17.25 - $20.65, with an additional $3 wage enhancement per hour, paid by the government, as reflected in the wage posted.**
