Landscape Gardening Assistant

Thornhill, Canada Contain Her Full time

Contain Her is a small gardening company in Thornhill providing custom container plantings, in-ground annual planting and new garden design and planting. We also provide garden maintenance services throughout the season. We are looking to hire 2-3 gardeners to help with the busy planting season from mid-May to end of June and potential for additional work in July/Aug.

If you have an eye for design, a desire to learn, are hardworking and love spending time outdoors, this could be the place for you. We work hard to create beautiful spaces for our clients and have fun doing it
- physically fit, able to lift 50lbs
- willing to get dirty and handle all kinds of weather
- knowledgeable of general planting practices
- self motivated, creative and quick to solve problems
- hard working, fun loving and team oriented
- flexible with work hours to get the job done when weather permits

If you have formal training or previous experience in the horticultural field, great If not, we will provide on the job training.

We travel to various job sites around the Thornhill, North Toronto, Richmond Hill areas in our vehicle, but if you have access to your own vehicle for commuting to job sites, mileage will be compensated. If you have what it takes to be a crew chief - let us know

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Licence/Certification:

- G Drivers Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2023-05-15
