Accounting Technician

**YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO**:
Ensure daily monitoring of cash inflows and outflows. Accounting for payments received daily (transfers and cheques).
Perform invoice reconciliation in the accounting system.
Prepare intercompany statements of account and accounting for payments.
Perform various follow-ups at the level of accounts receivable.
Prepare source deduction remittances.
Manage certain SOX controls related to the tasks under your supervision.
Maintain daily exchange rates in SAP.
Prepare U.S. Sales Tax Returns.
Support the team on different ad hoc projects.
Perform research, compilations and preparation of various data according to specific requests.
Provide support to financial analysts.
Perform various tasks related to general accounting.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

A college diploma in accounting.
Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
Good knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken.
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
A minimum of three to five (3 to 5) years of experience.
Good planning and organizational skills.
Excellent prioritization skills and ability to work in a team.
Attention to detail and thoroughness
Autonomy.
