Accounting Technician

**YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
Reconcile invoices and journal entries in the accounting system.

Ensure daily monitoring of cash inflows and outflows.

Balance payments received from our financial partner.

Prepare inter-company statements of account and accounting for Interco payments.

Perform various follow-ups with respect to accounts receivable.

Approve daily exchange rates in SAP.

Assume responsibility for certain SOX controls.

Prepare certain US sales tax returns.

Prepare source deduction remittances.

Prepare various management reports.

Support the team on different ad hoc projects.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A college diploma in accounting.

Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.

Good knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken.

Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

At least one to three (1-3) years of experience.

Good planning and organizational skills.

Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to work in a team.

The willingness to strive for continuous improvement in the performance of your duties.

Attention to detail and thoroughness.

Autonomy.
