**Position Overview**:
We are looking for a highly qualified **Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME)** to assist in developing, reviewing, and enhancing the curriculum for our **Cybersecurity** program. This role will involve collaborating with instructional designers to ensure the course content aligns with current industry standards and practices. Additionally, the SME will play a key role in preparing documentation for **Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) submission**, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and review **cybersecurity course content**, covering essential areas such as **network security**, **threat detection**, **incident response**, **ethical hacking**, and **data protection**.
- Provide expert insights into **emerging trends** and **best practices** in cybersecurity, including **cloud security**, **IoT security**, and **cyber defense strategies**.
- Collaborate with instructional designers to create engaging, practical learning materials such as **real-world scenarios**, **case studies**, and **hands-on labs**.
- Prepare and review all required documentation for **PTIB submission**, ensuring program compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure the curriculum aligns with industry certifications such as **Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)**, **Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)**, and **CompTIA Security+**.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity developments and regulatory requirements, and incorporate this knowledge into the program.

**Qualifications**:

- **Bachelor’s degree** in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree or relevant industry certifications are an asset).
- Minimum of **5 years of experience** in cybersecurity roles, with expertise in network security, ethical hacking, or incident response.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, including **NIST**, **ISO 27001**, and **GDPR** compliance.
- Prior experience with **PTIB submission** or similar regulatory processes is an asset.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to explain complex cybersecurity concepts in a clear and engaging manner.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $90.00-$100.00 per hour
