A valued TELUS client requires a security risk analyst to define and measure corporate information security risks across the enterprise. This role is suited to an energetic, self-starter with foremost security analyst skills who can work within a dynamic, forward-thinking organization.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
The Security Analyst will work closely with the Security, Legal and Internal Audit teams to define, measure and mitigate corporate information security risks. Specific requirements in the role include:

- Lead the deployment of a new security risk management process based around the ServiceNow GRC platform
- Assist with developing corporate governance practices and policies for cyber risk
- Manage the IT General Controls and support Internal Audit in documenting compliance
- Ensure all security risks are tracked and reviewed regularly
- Analyse key metrics to determine the overall health of the corporate security program
- Participate in Steering Committees for major corporate projects to advise and track security risk
- Quantify and communicate current risks to company leadership
- This role is well suited to an ambitious self-starter. An entrepreneurial mindset is required

**Skills and Experience**:

- Post-secondary diploma/degree in technology and/or recognised certifications plus minimum 5 years of related work experience
- Minimum 3 years experience assessing and managing corporate risk
- Experience assessing and managing cyber security related risks
- Experience in conducting internal audits under Sarbanes-Oxley
- Knowledge of security best practices in working with risk management methodologies such as COSO, ISO, COBIT
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Start Date: Immediately

Duration: 12 months - likely to extend.

**Salary**: $36.20-$98.04 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
