Graphics Dept. Technician

**Vinyl/Small Signs/Letters**
- Work efficiently with; Adobe Suites, Corel Draw, Microsoft Office Suites, (Willing to learn these skills)
- Plotting, weeding & masking vinyl and graphics
- Grommet and hemming small banners, flags and other soft sign materials
- Assembly of letters & patterns
- Vehicle graphics installation
- Small sign/letters, and vinyl graphics installation, indoor and outdoor.
- Cleaning of production areas, machines and personal work areas
- Small Tool management and organization
- Logging of all tasks and production notes into the project management system.
- Keep product/inventory stocked and organized, Ensure received product is properly logged.
- Work with Production Managers to ensure deadlines are met
- Work with designers and printers to establish achievable deadlines
- Stay up to date on products related to production and installations, offering suggestions that will add efficiency and quality to the business.
- Comfortable working with hand tools and taking accurate measurements.

**Print/Design**
- File set-up and design of signs and vinyl graphics, other graphic design tasks as required
- Assist with Large format printer and laminator
- Consulting with clients on design and layout, as required
- Maintain accuracy and detail in a fast-paced environment
- Quality control of print and design, including proofing spelling, accuracy, size, etc. Prior to print
- Colour matching as required
- Maintain a familiarity with a variety of colour systems, including Pantone, CMYK, paint etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$23.50 per hour
