Vinyl Technician

**Vinyl/Small Signs/Letters**
- Work efficiently with; Adobe Suites, Microsoft Office Suites, (Willing to learn these skills)
- Plotting, weeding & masking vinyl and graphics (Experience using a Cricut is a plus)
- Grommets for small banners, flags and other soft sign materials
- Assembly of letters & patterns
- Cleaning of production areas, machines and personal work areas
- Small Tool management and organization
- Logging of all tasks and production notes into the project management system.
- Keep product/inventory stocked and organized, Ensure received product is properly logged
- Work with Production Managers to ensure deadlines are met
- Work with designers and printers to establish achievable deadlines
- Stay up to date on products & techniques related to production and installations, offering suggestions that will add efficiency to the department

**Small Sign Installation**
- Comfortable working with hand tools and taking accurate measurements
- Comfortable drilling and installing hardware into drywall, brick, wood, aluminum etc.
- Knowledge of/willing to learn Vehicle graphics installation
- Small sign/letters, and vinyl graphics installation, indoor and outdoor
- Experience working with shop tools such as saws, drill press etc. considered an asset

**Print/Design**
- File set-up and design of signs and vinyl graphics, other graphic design tasks as required
- Assist with Large format printer and laminator
- Maintain accuracy and quality control of print and design, including proofing spelling, accuracy, size, etc.
- Colour matching as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$23.50 per hour
