**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES**:

- Lead/oversee investigation of customer complaints, RMA and internal non conformances
- Act as the primary customer quality contact for customer complaints
- Involvement in the new project launches process
- Participate in product and process design reviews to identify and prevent a potential failure.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives such as error proofing, cost of quality
- Provide direct daily quality support and guidance on quality control to cross-functional team on order execution
- Lead problem investigation and problem-solving to address quality concerns.
- Lead/oversee completion of required customer quality documentation such as test reports, certificate of compliance, certificate of analysis and others
- Establish quality standards including visual standards, document management standards, quality inspection instructions
- Create and maintain quality management system documents, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001
- Assist/administer supplier and vendor audits and assessments
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and action plan
- Perform Advance Product Quality Planning activities
- Work in conjunction with process engineering to ensure the production process is meeting required product quality
- Participate in the development of FMEAs, control plans, SOPs, templates
- All other duties as assigned.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 1 years of working experience in quality field
- Experience managing customer base from a quality perspective, proficiency in problem-solving and customer response
- Problem-solving ability in a production environment, team leadership utilizing problem-solving and statistical techniques
- Familiar with APQP tools and six sigma techniques (PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, Capability study, DOE)
- Quality and Continuous Improvement mindset
- Analytical / data driven
- Ability to work under pressure and bind a team together (production, engineering, quality and other support)
- QMS auditor training/experience is an asset
- Ability to work under little or no supervision
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks independently.
