We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking quality technician with a good eye for detail. You will be responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our company products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. You may also be required to maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement.

To ensure success as a quality technician, you should have a strong working knowledge of mathematical concepts, excellent visual awareness, and the ability to work with mínimal supervision. Ultimately, a top-class quality technician can efficiently monitor the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Ink Issue Management**:

- Identify and address color scan problems using X-rite equipment, including issues like colors being too light or too dark.
- Rectify incorrect colors and discrepancies between drawdowns and scan readings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions of the X-rite machine.
- **Shipping Issue Resolution**:

- Verify and rectify shipping address inaccuracies and load tag errors to ensure correct and timely deliveries.
- Inspect incoming sheet orders to ensure the best quality board is received.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Thoroughly inspect tickets and products to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
- Address color disparities and other quality-related issues, ensuring that finished products meet established quality standards.
- **Label Problem Solving**:

- Investigate label-related issues such as sticking together, wrinkling, and cracking.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to implement effective solutions that prevent label-related defects.
- **Artwork Integrity**:

- Review artwork for accuracy, identifying problems like incorrect layouts, insufficient bleed, and missing prints.
- Communicate artwork-related issues to the appropriate departments for timely correction.
- **Production Auditing**
- Audit production on best internal practices. Ie. Monitoring & completion of KQCC
- Audit records required for yearly external GMP audit.
- Audit facility for all GMP requirements
- **Document Management**:

- Maintain organized and up-to-date files for various quality reports, including Asitrade Wet-end Reports, Factory Tickets, and Production Reports.
- Categorize Factory Tickets by date and customer to facilitate efficient retrieval and reference.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with color analysis tools, particularly X-rite equipment, is preferred.
- Previous experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in maintaining organized documentation and filing systems.
