Event Planner

**The Stouffville Chamber is hiring an Event Planner**

The Stouffville Chamber of Commerce was established in 1977 and has grown and evolved into a vibrant non-profit organization focused on business excellence and growth.

Hosting numerous events throughout the year for our Members, we are looking for someone to coordinate and execute educational events, webinars and marquee events including the Mayor's Dinner and Business Awards as well as bring ideas to the table for new events to support Stouffville's business community.

**Job**
- Managing both community and Member events
- Backup for day-to-day office and Member Services duties

**Skills Required**:

- Experience organizing and running various events
- Computer skills - Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint
- Proven project & budget management skills
- Strong communication skills - English verbal and written
- Social Media - Facebook & Instagram
- Work independently as well as strong team player
- Positive can-do attitude

**Details**
- In person in Stouffville office
- Some weekend and evening hours would be required during events
- Salary range (full-time) - $35,000 to $40,000
- Salary based on experience. Benefits available
- References will be required
