**Location**:
Preferred location is Saskatoon, but Vancouver or Toronto applicants will be considered. This is not a remote position but could have some hybrid options.

**Description**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Integrate existing inversion codes into Dias’ platform
- Develop new inversion codes for emerging geophysical data types
- Design systems for parallelizing inversion routines for use on high performance clusters
- Contribute to open-source projects that align with company goals
- Development of software tools for inversion configuration and visualization
- Able and willing to travel locally and internationally

**Prerequisites**
- MSc. or PhD. in Geophysics or other technical field
- Sound knowledge in geophysical data inversion methods
- Knowledge of geophysical methods for mineral exploration
- Experience working with a variety of inversion codes (ie. SimPEG, UBC, etc).
- Ability to create and modify inversion algorithms such as SimPEG
- Familiarity with software version control systems such as GitHub
- Sound computer skills in Windows and Linux
- Strong Python programming experience is required
- Parallel computing experience is an asset
- C/C++ programming experience is an asset
- Eligible to work in Canada

- Track record of publications in academic journals
