The STEP Energy Services Training and Development department is looking to add a **Driver Training Administrator** to the team

**Role**:
The Driver Training Administrator provides administrative support to the Driver Training Team while working closely with the Training and Development Team to support operations professionals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintains accurate driver training and driver instructor records and statistics: MELT, PDIC, driver evaluations etc.
- Filing and storage maintenance of all driver training documentation and tickets
- Supports all driver training events
- Tracks progress of all STEP Professionals to ensure training requirements are completed in a timely manner
- Provides administrative support to update forms and documents including STEP certificates and training resources
- Assist in coordination and communication of driving schedules, training plans, and examinations
- Support Driver Mentor scheduling, tracking, and communication plans

**Qualifications**:

- 4 years of experience in an administrative role
- Knowledge of Learning Management systems (LMS) data entry and maintenance

**Key Competencies**:

- Excellent communication, inter-personal, and organizational skills (written and verbal)
- Proven ability to organize daily tasks/priorities and work within defined timelines to meet operational requirements
- Perform confidently, accurately, and professionally in a fast paced, detail orientated environment
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to deal with situations and people ethically, with honesty and integrity
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
- Motivated towards continuous improvement and reliable performance
- Knowledge of federal and provincial transportation legislation, Alberta licensed driver training schools, and electronic logs an asset, but not required
