**About the Opportunity**

Forbidden Mechanical is growing We are currently looking to fill an **Accounting Clerk **position in the **Comox Valley, BC.**

Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Completing payroll functions to ensure employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner
- Performing day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions including vendor setup, obtaining approvals and creating payment batches
- Assisting with Accounts Receivables functions including collections and reconciling customer accounts on a monthly basis
- Performing visa and bank reconciliations
- Assisting the finance team with month-end and year-end processes
- Maintaining strict confidentiality concerning financial and employee files
- Other administrative duties as required

**About You**

To qualify as an Accounting Clerk, you must have **prior experience with Payroll and Accounts Payable.**
