**Position Type**: Casual/Call-In

***Requirements/Qualifications:

- Must be fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Grade 12 preferred.
- Previous employment in a maintenance position preferred.
- Preference will be given to individuals holding certificates in repair trades such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning.
- Must have facility cleaning experience.
- Must have knowledge of Building Code, Fire Code, OH&S legislation and regulations, WSIB legislation and regulations, and WHMIS legislation.
- Must be able to read, understand and follow instructions including but not limited to job descriptions & procedures, SDS information, chemical dilution instructions.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must conduct themselves in a courteous manner at all times and have excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills evidenced by ability to work well with fellow staff in all departments, ability to communicate an identified problem with proposed solutions to manager and co-workers.
Must be organized and able to multi-task with little supervision.
- Must have the ability to perform manual labour and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
- Must have the ability to work inside and outside, also in warm/humid work environment at times.

**Health Screening Requirements**:
Each member of staff must have a:

- Negative 2 step TB test
