Job Description - **Fuel Efficiency Coach**

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
Driver Training and Development:

- Develop and deliver training programs to improve driver performance, safety, and fuel efficiency.
- Conduct onboarding training for new drivers, focusing on safe driving practices, company policies, and fuel-saving techniques.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to drivers to help them achieve their performance goals.

Data Analysis and Scorecard Preparation:

- Collect and analyze data related to driver performance, including fuel consumption, driving behavior, and potentially vehicle maintenance.
- Prepare driver scorecards based on performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for recognition.
- Utilize telematics systems and other technology tools to track and monitor driver performance effectively.

Coaching and Feedback:

- Deliver one-on-one coaching sessions with drivers to review performance metrics, discuss areas for improvement, and set goals for enhancement.
- Provide constructive feedback to drivers on their driving techniques, fuel efficiency strategies, and adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with drivers to develop personalized action plans for improvement and monitor progress over time.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of driver training activities, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Generate regular reports on driver performance trends, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders to provide updates on driver training initiatives and outcomes.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience within trucking is an asset, but not necessarily required.
- Previous experience in a training or coaching environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of trucking regulations, safety standards, and fuel efficiency best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire drivers.
- Experience in data analysis and report generation using Microsoft Excel or similar software.
- Familiarity with telematics systems and GPS tracking technology is a plus.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
