CMHA Toronto proudly provides services to over 10,000 clients per year, in 31 programs at 13 locations across the City of Toronto. Our services are delivered by a passionate and diverse team. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist with development of course material and provide feedback as needed
- Be available for in-house and offsite facilitation of workshops
- Enrich courses with visual aids to engage trainees
- Measure outcomes from trainings through reports back to Program Manager
- Research and recommend learning equipment (e.g. platforms and projectors)

**SKILLS YOU BRING**
- Experience in the field of mental health and mental illness
- Experience delivering training effectively to adult learners
- Current First Aid at Work Certificate required
- Trainor certificates in any of the following is an asset: ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training), safeTALK Training, MHFA (Mental Health First Aid)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiasm to reduce stigma/discrimination associated with mental illness
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of mental health and addictions and knowledge of the social services and/or health field, including local resources
- Familiarity with Recovery Philosophy and awareness of needs of diverse communities is an asset
- Strong organization and time management skills to prioritize tasks to achieve objectives; planning & coordination skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 programs, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams
