**UPS Fraser Valley Operations is currently looking for **Package Operations** **Clerk **(Operations Clerk) to work in our Fraser Valley Centre in Delta BC.**:
**Job description**

The **Package** **Operations Clerk (Delta BC)** assists and reviews UPS Small Package dispatch activities to ensure timely and proficient service. The Operations Clerk provides support with dispatch planning and ensures service, safety, and cost goals are met. This position assists dispatch operations and coordinates with others to ensure dispatch plans are executed efficiently, adequate staffing is provided, and equipment levels are sufficient for transportation needs.

The Package Operations Clerk supports the Centre management team in processing premium service packages for deliveries, address corrections and updates, tracks package disposition and general key entry activities.

The position assists Fraser Valley Package Operations in overseeing centre operations, coordinating drivers with delivery follow-ups, confirming pick up schedules and ensuring that exception packages are processed for delivery on the next business day. To ensure that packages are dispatched to the drivers properly, the Package Operations Clerk will the work shift in a warehouse setting and will be required to validate package information inside UPS package cars on a regular basis.

Dispatch office administrative work is essential to this position. This will include answering of driver queries, answering phones and radios, receiving of delivery notices, generation of standard reports and all other work as assigned by the Centre Management team.This position is based out of the **Fraser Valley Centre** **on **790 Belgrave Way, Delta BC (Annacis Island).**

Available shift is:

- ** Monday to Friday; 5:30PM to 10:30PM**Responsibilities**:

- Assists in validation of package deliveries and will be required to validate packages inside UPS package cars;
- Provides the Centre Management Team updated information on exception packages;
- Assists in conducting hazardous materials audits and review safety reports;
- Verifies package delivery data and updates address information;
- Assists the Centre Management Team in delivery time for exception packages and confirm customers' requests;**Qualifications**:

- Must be available for work Monday to Friday;
- Able to work in a warehouse environment for the duration of the shift;
- Strong communication skills
- Must be comfortable in creating standard spreadsheet reports and using proprietary software for address corrections;
- ** Availability to work flexible shift hours, minimum of 5 days per week (shift can last between 6 - 7 hours a day);**
