The Quality Manager is responsible for overall development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS).

**REPORTING RELATIONSHIP**

General Manager

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS**
- Diploma from a two-year college in relevant technical discipline and/or five years related experience.
- Certified AIAG IATF 16949:2016 Supplier Auditor
- VDA 6.3 (2016) Auditor Qualified Auditor
- Internal EMS Auditor (ISO 14001:2015)
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and train employees on these items.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Project; Excel, Word and Minitab software.

**PRIMARY DUTIES**
- Ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to Customer Specific Requirements, internal, ISO 9001/IATF 16949, and regulatory/legal requirements.
- Ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, supplier quality systems.
- Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization’s products.
- Lead a team of Quality engineers, inspectors, auditors and technicians.
- Work with customers and suppliers to develop product requirements.
- Report to top management on the performance of the QMS (i.e. results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement.
- Participates in the Management Review of the QMS for suitability, adequacy and effectiveness.
- Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
- Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product (service) quality.
- Schedules & coordinates the Internal Audit program of the QSM.
- Participates in the Operations Meeting to provide input and corrective action to concerns, risks and opportunities.
- Monitors closures of non-conformances (Internal and External).
- Ensure the requirements of China's Implementation Rules for Compulsory Certification of Motor Vehicle Products (for interior trim parts: CNCA-C11-09:2014) are fulfilled and that the complete implementation is secured and adjusted periodically according to the given changes.
- That the CCC certified products at all times comply with the Chinese product standard (for interior trim parts: GB 8410-2006).
- That a process instruction exists, which regulates the labeling with the CCC logo.
- That a procedural instruction exists, which ensures that the CCC logo is not applied on either faulty, non-conforming or non-certified products, and not on such products that have been modified after certification without an adjustment of the certificate.
- That a CoP Control Plan is created and implemented.
- That any relevant changes are announced to the Chinese Certification Authority.
- Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate measuring systems, fixture capability, current processes and process changes.
- Plans sequence of testing and calibration procedures for instruments and equipment.
- Reviews, approves, and files supplier PPAPs.
- Maintains a working knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements and industry quality assurance codes and standards.
- Reviews all purchased products or components and provides input to the decision of whether to accept or reject the products or purchase future products from the supplier.
- Monitors Quality Systems during the manufacturing process.
- Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures.
- Develops new approaches to manufacturing product to solve problems identified during quality assurance.

- Responsible for developing and maintaining customer relations for quality operations of the manufacturing site.
- Responds to customer concerns in a timely manner.
- Responsible for maintaining Supplier Quality Performance.
- Responsible for maintaining current edition ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance within the quality disciplines.
- Responsible for maintaining safety compliance within the manufacturing quality area disciplines.
