Chinese Social Media Marketing Specialist

Our company is seeking a creative, motivated Social Media Specialist to join our team. You’ll be responsible for developing a social media strategy to increase our online branding and interacting with current and potential clients through these platforms.

**Social Media Specialist Responsibilities**
- Help grow, manage, and optimize social media presence on all platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Weibo, WeChat, Little Red Book, Zhihu etc.
- Measure and monitor traffic on social media platforms and help develop strategies to increase ad effectiveness.
- Build the content strategy for our key social media channels with the intent to increase engagement.
- Communicate with social media followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
- Create high-quality contents, including but not limited to Blogs, newsletters, presentations, video scripts etc. that in line with company’s marketing guide.
- Create and share engaging daily content, including text, images, and videos that promote the company’s brand
- Ensure current social media strategy aligns with company goals and values
- Measure the success of social media campaigns using KPIs
- Stay on top of current social media trends and evaluate how the company can best participate
- Monitor client engagement and interact with clients on social media posts
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
- Collaborate with internal marketing team members to brainstorm content ideas, and produce copywrites for promotions, website/App, and in support of other brand initiatives and advertisements.
- Support the overall marketing objectives of company both externally and internally.

**Social Media Specialist Requirements**
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken), and Chinese (Mandarin).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, graphic design and video editng, such as Adobe Photoshop and CapCut
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
- Knowledge of multiple online marketing channels
- At least 1 year of experience in Chinese social media platform management

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
