Job Details

**Location**: Brandon Mb.

**Status**: Permanent, Full-Time

**Schedule**: This position operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 with overtime and on-call duties as required. This position will be based in Brandon, MB. but will be working on projects in and around Manitoba. Ability to travel and work out of town is essential.

**Responsibilities**
- Continuous monitoring of schedules, keep informed of daily activities, delegate assignments to staff as required.
- Coordinate the repairs workload and perform repairs and administrative work as part of the team.
- Repair BTI’s (message boards, Traffic lights, radar trailers, arrow-boards) and fleet vehicles as necessary.
- Review and inspect work zone ensuring timely compliance with drawings, maps, plans and regulatory specifications.
- Ensure any work zone deficiencies are corrected in timely manner.
- Accountable for ensuring field crew members have appropriate training, certifications, and mentorship.
- Follow up with field crews for equipment documentation and time sheets, complete and submit as needed
- Liaise with other staff to allow seamless communication between office and field work.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationship, ensure issues are dealt with in a timely manner and create opportunities to expand traffic control services within the industry.
- Daily Reporting of Progress.
- Provide support to Branch Manager as needed.
- Assisting will Performance Management

**Qualifications**
- **Previous supervisory and/or traffic control experience is required**.
- Ability to drive a one ton flat-deck truck.
- Must successfully complete drug and alcohol and fit test. **_*Note: This includes the use of marijuana, medical or non. As this is a safety sensitive position there is a zero tolerance policy in place for cannabis use*_**.
- **Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required**.
