- Purpose:

- In conjunction with the permanent CYW, promote, implement, and evaluate activities to meet the needs of children and youth.**Responsibilities**:
- To provide a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and positive environment for children and youth
- To assist in the planning and implementation of suitable daily program opportunities
- To assist in the promotion of the centre through social media etc.
- To plan and complete activities, getting youth involved in all aspects
- To complete activity calendars, daily participation and evaluation forms
- To supervise the participants to ensure their safety and the safety of others
- To clean and change the set-up of the centre as required
- To be an active participant in fund raising efforts
- To communicate effectively new or changed information, and/or gaps in service
- To review the program and provide input into the evaluation of the program using the data collected daily

Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic and friendly personality with the ability to relate to youth
- Excellent communication, computer and organizational skills
- Vulnerable Police Check
- Must be/have been a student in a program related to social services or child & youth related studies

Job Details:
- 35 hours per week, must be very flexible, including some Saturdays and evenings.
- Start July 2nd - August 30th (9 weeks)- $19.00 per hour
