General Shop Laborer

**Job Summary**: This position is responsible for loading and unloading trucks at warehouse, general warehouse organization and painting duties as directed. When required, this position may also include the delivery of materials and scaffolding to job sites as well as other miscellaneous shop duties.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
**1. Warehouse cleaning and painting (50%)**
- Includes sweeping and organizing warehouse
- Unloading/unloading materials
- Painting final product prior to delivery
- Other warehouse duties as assigned

**2. Loading /unloading trucks (20%)**
- Includes collecting materials from warehouse locations (as per a materials list)
- Loading materials into trucks and unloading at job sites.
- Responsible to have paperwork signed upon delivery and returned to the warehouse.

**3. Delivery (driving) of materials and scaffolding to required sites (20%)**
- Requires safe driving of company vehicle in accordance with all laws and regulations
- Includes managing the location of scaffolding and collecting to return to the warehouse or to another job site.

**4. Responsible for removal of left-over materials at job site and return to warehouse (10%)**

Always works in compliance with Cult Iron Works’ Health and Safety Program, and Occupational Health & Safety acts and regulations, and use personal protective equipment and clothing as directed by Cult.

**Qualifications**:

- Highschool education
- Driver’s License in good standing, with a clean driving record
- Fork lift - License and training
- General shop environment experience an asset
- Uninhibited ability to lift(20-30lbs boxes), bend, stand for periods of time
- Ability to work in a loud, noisy environment due to material and machinery used
- Effectively work as a team player
- Meet delivery timeframes and work under pressure

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
