Roofer/labourer

- Experienced Roofers/laborer's are needed all year round. _
- Not only will you have an opportunity to work on all different styles of houses, but you will become familiar with installations methods for all different kinds of roofing materials the company offers. _
- As a roofer, you will work as part of a spirited team that knows how to get a job done but also when to have fun. After some time, you may even be put in charge of certain projects._

**Responsibilities**:

- Repair roofs, including filling in holes, replacing missing shingles and flashing, working on the chimney, removing water damaged pieces and more
- Install new roofs by adhering to manufacturer standards (Shingles, Metal)
- Establish scaffolding and other pieces of safety equipment, and ensure everyone on the worksite including yourself is always working in a safe, secure manner
- Install proper insulation in the attic area, and tear out any old insulation that does not meet current guidelines
- Keep jobsite clean and free of shingles, nails and debris

**Job Skills & Qualifications Required**:

- Working at heights training
- At least 18 years old
- Physically fit with the ability to lift and carry loads up to 60 pounds and work in varying temperatures
- Additionally, roofers should not be afraid of heights and should be comfortable working high up off the ground.
- Knowledge of different types of roofing systems
- Knowledge of building ordinances
- Knowledge of roofing procedures, materials and tools
- Reliable Transportation (A valid driver’s license and solid driving history)
- Ability to work within a team and meet deadlines

Pay: $18.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 60 per week

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- roofing: 4 years (preferred)
