**Small Engine Technician/ Technicien petits moteurs**

**Job description**:
The ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment with accuracy and speed, create effective working relationships with co-workers to communicate both verbally and in writing is essential.
- **Responsibilities **:_
- Maintain and repair equipment in shop as well as in the field
- Organize and maintain shop area
- Safely assist with loading unloading of equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate records
- Supply part description and numbers for ordering of parts
- Repairs small rental and customer's tools and equipment (electric tools and combustion engines) and ensures that they are working efficiently.
- Prepares new tools and proceeds with a pre-delivery inspection.
- Carries out regular and preventative maintenance on all electric tools and combustion engines.
- Prepares estimates (list of parts and time).
- Inspects customers small equipment when returned.
- Annual bonus based on performance
- Work clothes are provided

- **Requirements**:_
- Diploma of Vocational Studies in recreational vehicles mechanics combined with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanics
- Basic knowledge of computer softwares
- Skilled in repairing electronic components
- Autonomous

La capacité de dépanner, diagnostiquer et réparer l'équipement avec précision et rapidité, de créer des relations de travail efficaces avec les collègues de travail pour communiquer verbalement et par écrit est essentielle.
- **Responsabilités et obligations **:_
- Entretenir et réparer l'équipement en atelier et sur le terrain.
- Organiser et entretenir l'atelier
- Aider en toute sécurité au chargement et au déchargement de l'équipement au besoin.
- Tenir à jour des dossiers exacts
- Fournir la description et les numéros des pièces pour la commande des pièces.
- Répare et s'assure du bon fonctionnement des petits outils de location (électrique et moteur à combustion) et de ceux des clients.
- Prépare les nouveaux outils pour l'inspection de pré-livraison.
- Effectue l'entretien régulier et préventif sur les outils électriques et à moteur à combustion.
- Prépare des estimations (liste de pièces et heures).
- Inspecte les petits équipements des clients lors du retour.
- Prime annuelle fondée sur le rendement
- Les vêtements de travail sont fournis.
- Programme d'assurance collective et de retraite avec contribution de l'employeur
- **Exigences du poste **:_
- Diplôme d'études professionnelles en mécanique de véhicules légers combiné à un minimum de 2 années d'expérience en mécanique
- Connaissance de base en informatique
- Habilité dans la réparation des composantes électroniques
- Autonome
