**Job Title: Summer Outdoor Gear Ambassador**
**Location**: (1) Greater Edmonton Area, (1) Greater Calgary Area
Join us this summer as an Outdoor Gear Ambassador and be part of an exciting team promoting nationally recognized hunting, fishing, and camping brands. If you're passionate about the outdoors and enjoy sharing your love for gear, this is the perfect opportunity for you
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- **Merchandising**: Travel to local outdoor specialty and big box retailers to set up displays, stock shelves, and ensure products are well presented.
- **Product Knowledge**: Provide friendly and informative product knowledge to retail staff, helping them understand the technical details of our outdoor gear.
- **Relationship Building**: Connect with store teams and managers to ensure smooth execution of merchandising tasks and foster positive working relationships.
- **Feedback and Reporting**: Use our simple reporting app to share photos and provide feedback, helping us improve our merchandising efforts.
- **Efficiency and Accuracy**: Complete tasks efficiently and accurately, ensuring everything is done on time and to a high standard.

- **Passion for the Outdoors**: If you love spending time in the outdoors and are enthusiastic about outdoor gear, we want to hear from you
- **Availability**: You'll need to be available during regular business hours and be able to manage your time effectively.
- **Adaptability**: We're looking for team players who can handle a variety of tasks and are willing to learnon the fly.
- **Independence**: While you'll have support from our team, you'll also need to be comfortable working independently and problem-solving on the go.
- **Organization and Attention to Detail**: Being well-organized and paying attention to the little things is key to success in this role.
**Requirements**:
- **Access to Technology**: You'll need a smartphone (we'll provide a tablet) and access to a home computer with Wi-Fi.
- **Driver’s License**: A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential.
- **Physical Requirements**: Some lifting (up to 15lbs) may be required, and you may need steel toe shoes on occasion.
- **Experience**: While previous retail merchandising experience is a bonus, it's not essential - we're more interested in your passion and enthusiasm
- **PAL**: A valid and current Possession and Acquisition License is required.
- **Completion of Questionnaire**: At the end of the term, you'll need to complete a short questionnaire for the Canada Summer Jobs program.

Pay: $16.55-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
