Jumi Gozen Bar is a new Japanese gozen bar located near the Fairview Mall and the subway station.

We offer a full-service dining, beverages sales, as well as take-out sushi. We offer seasonal menu, "gozen" style Japanese cuisine experience to our guests different from other Japanese restaurants.

We are looking for part time and full time dishwasher / kitchen helper.

**Responsibilities**:

- Dishwashing: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and glassware, ensuring they are ready for use in food preparation and service.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen area clean and organized, including sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash, and maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Food Preparation Assistance: Assist the kitchen staff in basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, washing produce, and portioning ingredients as directed.
- Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations: Follow proper sanitation procedures and maintain hygiene standards in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
- Flexibility: Be open to taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the kitchen management team.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous Experience: Prior experience in a kitchen helper or dishwasher role is preferred, but not mandatory. We welcome individuals with a passion for food and a willingness to learn.
- Time Management: The ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively is essential in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Attention to Detail: Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to hygiene standards are critical aspects of this role, requiring keen attention to detail.
- Team Player: A cooperative attitude and the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment are highly valued.
- Adaptability: The kitchen can be a dynamic environment with changing priorities. A flexible approach to work and a positive attitude under pressure are appreciated.
- Food Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices is a plus, but training can be provided if necessary.

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
