Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment is running smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, identifying and troubleshooting maintenance issues, performing electrical repairs, and ensuring that all maintenance processes are adhered to. Reporting to the maintenance lead you will be responsible for other various roles around the facility as mandated by the lead.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct preventative maintenance procedures to keep equipment in good working order.
- Pay attention to and adhere to safety guidelines, protocols, and systems at all times.
- Provide support and assistance to other maintenance technicians as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Performing routine maintenance around the building
- Inspecting buildings, maintaining inventory
- Perform daily/weekly or monthly inspections and complete proper forms
- Installs equipment according to ESA standards
- Collaborate with the maintenance team and contractors as needed
- Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion
- Compliance with all company safety regulations.
- Works well with ALL maintenance and production staff, TEAM PLAYER
**Requirements**:
- A high school diploma or GED certificate
- Possess technical qualifications such as a certification in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systems
- Have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. This includes knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, wiring diagrams, and the ability to use debuggers and diagnostic tools
- Must possess strong soft skills. This includes problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication
- Have excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues with equipment and provide viable solutions
- Must be able to explain technical details in non-technical terms and communicate with both colleagues and clients
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lincoln, ON L0R 1B3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
