Hidden Victoria Tours is looking for a SUPERSTAR tour guide to run food tours and pub crawls for the 2024 season.

Looking for someone with high energy and a ton of enthusiasm to show guests a fun filled afternoon that they will never forget. You will be in charge of groups up to 11 guests

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Outgoing, friendly personality, with 5 star customer service skills
- Excellent communication, and comfortable presenting to group, small talk extraordinaire
- Entertaining and engaging, with a passion for Victoria
- Good time management skills
- Quick with a smart phone and able to learn new apps
- Extremely reliable and punctual
- Knack for bringing people together and building strong relationships in a short amount of time

General responsibilities:

- Greet guests and collect tour tickets
- Conduct tours with professional commentary (training and script provided)
- Bringing guests from one establishment to another, ensuring guests are conversing with each other or with you to be entertained during the entire duration of the tour
- Thinking 2 steps ahead to ensure a smooth, on time tour. Calling harbour ferries to coordinate pick ups. Ensuring guests dietary needs are addressed
- Taking pictures during tours that will be sent to groups once tour is complete
- Asking for reviews and working closely with the owner to grow the business
- On completion of tour, writing owner about the experience of their tour
- Tours take place between 12 and 7pm every day of the week

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

- French not required

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:
