**SUMMARY**:
At The Park, we like to set ourselves up for success by cross-training our staff. For this position, we would like a versatile person who has some serving experience as well as ability to work the golf shop retail section.

At the golf shop, each golfer that checks in at the beginning of their round must stop in at the Golf Shop and their interaction with the staff will set the tone for their entire visit. Our customers are varied and include annual members and the public.

Our service team creates a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our guests. We strive to exceed our guest’s expectations from the moment we greet them, until they leave the building. Currently this is a contract position which ends September 30th, but has the possibility of extension.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Follow all standard operating procedures in the Golf Shop.
- Book tee times and process sales using the Lightspeed Golf and POS software.
- Check in guests accurately and collect payments.
- Assist customers shopping in the retail store by providing advice on products.
- Maintain a clean and organized area be it the retail or restaurant area.
- Ensure standards for customer service are being met every day.
- Additional duties as required and directed by the Golf Shop Manager

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**:

- Predominantly indoor with some outdoor requirements.
- Position requires standing for long periods of time.
- This is a customer-facing role, you will be interacting with the public for most of each workday.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months
Part-time hours: 15-25 per week

**Salary**: From $17.50 per hour

Day range:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Shift:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Comox, BC V9M 3Z2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
