**Description**:
Reporting to the Foreman, the incumbent is responsible for performing administrative and data analytical functions, assisting with budget preparation and compliance, contract management, responding to customer inquiries and complaints, and working with current and potential vendors. The work performed requires the ability to work independently and exercise considerable tact, judgment, and initiative.

**Position Specifications**:

- Performs various duties requiring data analytics, financial calculations, written and oral communications skills, and advanced knowledge of Excel;
- Data Analysis: coordinate, research, develop, analyze and implement data dashboards to indicate transit ridership and other KPIs based on industry best practices;
- Prepares background reports using available data related to transit service decisions, equipment recommendations, short, medium and long term plans and other KPIs where required;
- Oversees the fare media program including ordering, distributing, reconciling and invoicing;
- May respond to customer complaints or inquiries on behalf of a member of senior management;
- Makes decisions within guidelines and standards and recommends solutions in functional area of expertise;
- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures;
- Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation;
- Responsible for the administration of the Para Transit service including client registration, customer communications and database management;
- Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting including AP/AR, assist in contract and project planning, management processes;
- Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls;
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence as well as statistical reporting to all levels of government;
- May supervise related staff;
- Other related duties as required.

**Education and Experience**:
Post secondary degree in business administration, finance, or mathematics and two (2) years of related experience.

An equivalent combination of training, education and experience may be acceptable.

**Knowledge and Desired Skills**:

- Proven advanced skills in data analytics and finance;
- Advanced skills in excel with experience in other software such as MS Power BI considered an asset;
- Ability to research including skills to develop systems to collect and analyze primary customer data; excellent computer and report writing skills; public speaking and communication;
- Ability to communicate in both official languages will be considered an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $61,525.92-$81,137.31 per year
